Newton rings
Witryna3 lut 2024 · Newton’s rings are a series of concentric circular rings consisting of bright- and dark-colored fringes. When a plano-convex lens lies on top of a plane lens or glass sheet, a small layer of air is formed between the two lenses. Witryna10 kwi 2024 · Newton's Rings are visible when viewed with monochromatic light as alternating bright and dark circles located at the point of contact between the two surfaces. The different wavelengths of light conflict at very different levels of thickness in the layer of air between the two surfaces when viewed in white light. Witryna9 maj 2024 · Re: ImageJ to remove Newton rings by Ivan » Thu Apr 29, 2024 9:00 am The example I sent is not mine. This video was recorded by star-hunter, there is a link to his website. There are many plugins for Photoshop that work as well, but in my opinion, they still leave barely noticeable traces that can be seen if you know where to look.

Witryna23 lip 2013 · I found that normal strength Photo-Flo on 35mm makes Newton rings on my Durst 606. I dilute it twice as much and then quickly dip the film reel in plain water before hanging and squeeging. Worked for me - no Newton rings and still no water spots.
